Project No 1.
Multiple inlet rotating disk HiGee absorption unit
- Eliminates entrainment altogether
- High capacity and process intensification are achieved through efficient multi-staging.
- Facilitates multi-feed and precise control of exothermic reactions by monitoring feed temperature at each stage, ensuring stage-wise cooling to prevent heat bulge.
- Enhancement of individual controlled mass transfer coefficients
- Can replace divided-wall column
- Permits heating/

Project No 2.
HiGee Absorption and Desorption Unit
- A continuous 0.4 TPD absorption and desorption unit for inhouse experimentation.
- Absorption capacity > 95%.
- Ability to achieve 99.9% pure CO2.
- Comparative study with different solvents.
- Process and energy optimization studies.

AQI IMPROVEMENT
- Unlike standard methods (cyclone separators, ESPs, filter bags, wet scrubbers), the intense turbulence in HiGee is achieved as the centrifugal force generated exceeds gravity, thereby forming thin liquid layers and micro-droplets, which suppress the Brownian motion of ultrafine particles and efficiently drive even PM2.5 into the scrubbing liquid for superior removal.
- Test conditions included a gas flow rate of 9350 m³/hr with an inlet dust concentration of 5000 mg/m³, while the system operated with a water flow of 23 MT/hr at 2.4 kg/cm²g pressure and a liquid flow rate of 380 LPM through the Rotating Packed Bed (RPB).
- At the HiGee outlet, the dust concentration was reduced to 47 mg/m³, achieving a removal efficiency of 99.11% for particulate matter, including PM2.5 and PM10 The process achieves near zero-liquid discharge via water re-circulation, with only 8.2 ml/m³ of gas lost as water carryover.
- In summary, HiGee RPB technology provides robust performance for diverse PM types, is highly flexible, and enables major improvements in air quality and emission standard compliance.
